Priya Nair is a partner in Snow+Snow’s energy regulatory practice in Washington, DC, where she counsels clients on federal energy regulatory compliance, agency proceedings, and the intersection of energy policy and law. Her practice spans the full range of regulatory work before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other federal agencies, with a particular focus on natural gas pipelines, LNG facilities, and electricity markets.

Background

Prior to joining Snow+Snow, Priya served as an attorney-advisor in the Office of the General Counsel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where she advised on pipeline certification proceedings and developed expertise in the Commission’s environmental review processes under the National Environmental Policy Act. That regulatory background gives her clients a significant advantage in anticipating agency concerns and structuring effective submissions.

Priya is a member of the Energy Bar Association and regularly presents on federal energy regulatory developments at industry conferences and CLE programs.
