Michelle Novak is a partner in Snow+Snow’s litigation practice in Dallas, where she represents clients in complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts in Texas and nationwide. Her litigation practice focuses on contract disputes, business torts, and adversarial proceedings involving energy assets, infrastructure, and corporate transactions. Michelle has experience as both trial counsel and appellate advocate, with a record of success in high-stakes matters for energy companies, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors.

Background

Before joining Snow+Snow, Michelle clerked for a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, an experience that sharpened her analytical approach to complex legal questions and appellate strategy. She also served as a law clerk to a federal district court judge in the Northern District of Texas, giving her insight into how courts evaluate discovery disputes, dispositive motions, and trial presentation.

Michelle is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the Dallas Bar Association’s Litigation Section, where she has served on the steering committee for the annual advanced civil litigation program.
